Some personal work, my latest projects and other interesting stuff.

Here’s a project that was certainly fun. I had to take the rather interesting name Zelos, and illustrate the name in brushed letterforms.
The name ‘Zelos’, or Zelus in Greek mythology personifies dedication, emulation, eager rivalry, envy, jealousy, and zeal. The English word “zeal” is derived from his name. So, I had a chance to really interpret the name with the character of the letterforms and I really think there was some good variety to choose from. Here are some of the variations. This project was for Damion Hickman Design.

This logo design will also be appearing in the upcoming hardcover edition of Letterhead & Logo Design 12, publishing in September 2011.
