Here’s a project that was certainly fun. I had to take the rather interesting name Zelos, and illustrate the name in brushed letterforms.

The name ‘Zelos’, or Zelus in Greek mythology personifies dedication, emulation, eager rivalry, envy, jealousy, and zeal. The English word “zeal” is derived from his name. So, I had a chance to really interpret the name with the character of the letterforms and I really think there was some good variety to choose from. Here are some of the variations.
